The Sporting 2014-15 third kit is dedicated to Francisco Stromp (1892-1930), player and manager of Sporting during the 1...920s. Therefore, the new Sporting Stromp Kit features a half-and-half kit design, inspired by the kit worn in the early 1900s. The club's badge and the Macron logo are embroidered on the chest.
Another special feature of the Stromp kit is the famous sentence in Portuguese printed inside: "Queremos que o Sporting seja um grande Clube, tao grande como os maiores da Europa" (meaning "we want that Sporting is a great club, on the same level of the biggest clubs in Europe") proclaimed by Viscount Jose Alvalade, founder and first member of Sporting Lisbon, whom the Sporting stadium is dedicated to.
