Paris Saint-Germain was founded in 1970, and had fashion designer Daniel Hechter as club president during the 1970s. Hechter came up with the club's iconic home shirt, which was neglected recently by... the QSI ownership and Nike. Traditionally, PSG's home jersey combines a navy base with a thick red centered vertical stripe, surrounded by two slimmer white stripes. There also exists a "reversed Hechter", which is a red shirt with a blue center stripe, and a white Hechter. PSG is the first football club to have a partnership with Nike-owned brand Jordan, and is at the forefront of innovation regarding football shirts.
