Even Distribution In 3. Liga 2023-2024 Kit Battle

Germany's 3. Liga returns for its 16th edition on August 4, 2023, which is in less than two weeks. Before, Germany had no one-track third division. Instead, the so-called Regionalliga was the equivalent of the third division, split into several regional leagues.

Promotions and Relegations

For the 2023-24 campaign, all teams are known. Elversberg, Osnabrück and Wiesbaden got promoted to the 2. Bundesliga. Last season, Bayreuth, Zwickau, Oldenburg and Meppen got relegated to the Regionalliga.

This season, 3. Liga will welcome VfB Lübeck, Preußen Münster, SSV Ulm and Unterhaching from the fourth tier as newly promoted teams. Arminia Bielefeld, Jahn Regensburg and Sandhausen got relegated from 2. Bundesliga.

The 20 teams in 3. Liga have 10 kit suppliers. Puma, Capelli, Nike and Uhlsport share the lead with 3 teams each, followed by Macron and Jako with 2 teams each. Adidas, Joma, Hummel and Umbro fill up the league as they all have one team under contract, respectively.
