Wisła Płock will join the international campaign "White Ribbon - Stop Violence Against Women". Wisła's players will wear... a dedicated match kit, specially designed for this occasion. The kit will be entirely white, including the shirts, shorts, socks, and white versions of the crests and logos. The only exceptions are the player numbers and names, which must remain visible for broadcast purposes.
The minimalist, monochromatic kit will be a powerful statement of solidarity with victims of violence. Similar initiatives – such as Arsenal's "No More Red" and projects by Real Madrid and Adidas Parley – have demonstrated the powerful tool a symbolic change of colors can be in social campaigns. Wisła Płock is bringing this idea to Poland, using this unique sporting event to draw attention to the issue of violence against women.
