Grobogan Regency, known as the food barn of Central Java, also has a local icon product called Batik Tulis Grobogan. Onc...e popular in 1938 with Laseman motifs, it now features plant-inspired designs such as corn, rice, bamboo, soybeans, and teak. Produced using traditional hand-drawn batik techniques on primisima fabric with remasol dye, Grobogan Batik holds high artistic value. Its signature motifs, like “Pring Sedapur” and “Polowijo,” have become regional icons. Although recently reintroduced, Batik Tulis Grobogan has received positive responses and is considered on par with batik from Solo, Pekalongan, and Yogyakarta.
