Operário Futebol Clube is about to relive one of the most glorious moments in its history, launching a retro edition shi...rt in honor of the Mato Grosso championship title won in 1974. In partnership with the renowned sports uniform supplier "Weefe", Galo seeks to remember and celebrate the feat that marked an era of success for the club. This new shirt features a texture that refers to Operário's emblematic title in the 1974 Mato Grosso Championship, paying tribute not only to this achievement, but also to the history of subsequent victories, with triumphs in 1976, 1977 and in the newly created state of Mato Grosso do Sul, in 1978. In addition, the shirt is a special tribute to the 50th anniversary of Operário's first title, celebrating the club's historical legacy in a unique way. In a conversation with president Nelson Antônio, Weefe's sales manager, Leandro Lougue Monteiro, highlighted the care taken in developing a product that was suited to the needs of the club and the region: "We conducted a study on the climate characteristics and possibilities of the region and were able to come up with a very light material, geared towards the heat of Mato Grosso do Sul." Monteiro also emphasized the importance of offering thermal comfort to both athletes and fans who purchase the shirt: "A sweaty or dry shirt weighs practically the same, so it will provide a comfortable thermal sensation to both the athlete and the fan who purchases the shirt. We have excellent expectations for this new partnership. Our focus is to listen to the demands of the clubs in order to meet their needs regarding uniforms." In turn, president Nelson Antônio emphasized the importance of a uniform that provides comfort to players, valuing the partnership with the company: "It is essential that our athletes feel good in their uniforms. We are excited about this new partnership with Weefe, aiming not only to pay homage to the 1974 title, but also to ensure the well-being of our players." The long-awaited t-shirt in honor of the 1974 title will be officially launched this Wednesday (13) at Barolé Bar, located at Av. Afonso Pena, 6044, starting at 6:30 p.m. The event will have free admission and promises to bring together fans and admirers of Operário to celebrate the club's glorious history and the legacy of half a century since the achievement that marked the beginning of a victorious trajectory.
