Manchester United's kits are traditionally red and white, with the home kit being predominantly red and the away kit being predominantly white. The club has had a number of different kit manufacturers over the years, including Umbro, Nike, and Adidas. The current kit manufacturer is Adidas, and the club has a partnership with the company that runs until 2030.
Newton Heath, Manchester United's predecessor club, used to wear a white shirt with a slim sash and also the famous green / golden kit, but ever since the name change in 1902 the Red Devils play their home games in a predominantly red jersey with white shorts and black socks. However, there was one exception during the 1920s when the Red Devils sported a white shirt with a red chevron on the chest, just as in the 1909 FA Cup final against Bristol City.
