Ireland’s oldest football club, Bohemian FC, a 100% fan-owned non-profit organisation, presents a special FAI Cup shirt ...paying tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time and two of Ireland’s most famous sons.
The shirt features the iconic Oasis logo in the traditional blue tones of Dublin City, combined with a 1990s-inspired style and sublimated chevron patterns. White and blue collar and sleeve trims complete the design. It is manufactured by O’Neills Sportswear Ireland and designed in-house by Bohemian FC in collaboration with Oasis.
All profits from the shirt are divided between Bohemian FC and two charities. Fifty percent (50%) supports Bohemian FC’s ongoing football and community work, while the remaining fifty percent (50%) is split equally: 25% for Music Generation Ireland, providing disadvantaged children across Ireland with access to music education, and 25% for Irish Community Care Manchester (ICCM), supporting the Irish community in Manchester. Oasis receive no financial benefit from this project, offering their support purely in partnership with the club.
Funds directed to Music Generation Ireland enable thousands of children who otherwise could not afford music lessons or instruments to participate in musical programmes. This support helps develop local music initiatives, expand instrument libraries, and create more opportunities for young people to engage with the music they love.
Proceeds supporting Irish Community Care Manchester (ICCM) strengthen essential services for Irish and Irish Traveller communities across Greater Manchester, including assistance for the elderly, families, homeless individuals, and some of the city’s most vulnerable residents. Around 33% of Manchester’s population is estimated to be Irish or of Irish descent — as President Michael D. Higgins remarked, “Where Liverpool was a gateway for so many Irish people, Manchester tended to be for many the end of the journey — a home.”
Bohemian FC and its legendary home, Dalymount Park, are iconic institutions in Irish sport and culture. The stadium has hosted thousands of matches and some of football’s greatest names — including Best, Pelé, and Zidane — while also serving as a landmark in music history, with major concerts throughout the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Although Oasis never performed at Dalymount, the Gallagher brothers remain two of the most celebrated Irish musicians of all time. Their 2025 Dublin shows at Croke Park, less than a mile from “Dalyer,” continue this strong connection.
The Cross Guns Snooker Club, located just a short walk from Dalymount, features prominently in the promotional video accompanying the launch. The club, Ireland’s oldest snooker hall and family-owned since 1958, includes Paul Weller (“The Modfather”) as the snooker hall worker, with Bohemian FC player Jordan Flores and former player Paddy Kirk also appearing — all set to the Oasis classic “Married with Children.”
