FCV Farul Constanța, commonly known as Farul Constanța, is a Romanian professional football club based in Constanța on the Black Sea coast. Founded in 1920, the team reflects the city’s maritime ident...ity, earning nicknames such as Marinarii (The Sailors) and Rechinii (The Sharks). Their traditional colors are white and blue. In 2021, Farul merged with Viitorul Constanța, the club created by Gheorghe Hagi, combining historic tradition with a strong focus on youth development. Since then, Farul has reestablished itself as a major force in Romanian football and has also competed in European competitions. They play their home matches at the Central Stadium of the Gheorghe Hagi Football Academy.
