Camiseta de fútbol Buscando en Praga
This week, we visited Czechia's capital city Prague. Prague is situated in the middle of Bohemia on the Vitava river.
Of course, we did not miss out on the opportunity of hunting for football shirts in a foreign country, and picked up four jerseys from different retro shops for a total of CZK 1600 ($70, €65, £55) - less than a half you would at least need to spend at the usual online stores.
All four shirts will be part part of a giveaway to celebrate the launch of Football Kit Archive Plus. We will draw four winners on April 10, 2025.
Football Kit Archive Plus is a new subscription based model for 10 USD per year to get no ads and premium features for tools like Advanced Search, Collection or Wishlist. Of course, you will also support us and our work directly in this way.
Retro Shops
There are a lot of second hand shops in Prague, but not all of them will have football shirts in stock. We do not claim that this is a definitive list. Make sure to let us know in case a store for vintage football shirts is missing.
Young Dust Vintage Store - Benediktská 1006/12, 110 00 Staré Město
Young Dust has one rail full of football shirts. The store had shirts from teams like Hamburger SV or Everton FC in stock. We secured the Celtic 2012-13 third kit for a great price of 500 CZK ($22).

3SOME.cz - 3 different locations
The 3SOME brand has 3 stores around Prague. You can definitely find football shirts here, but make sure that they are not a cheap counterfeit.
Here, we picked up a Nigeria 2018 track top (720 CZK - $31) as well as an FC Augsburg 2012-13 third shirt (350 CZK - $15).

Žižkovská Hrabárna - Husitská 23, 130 00 Praha 3-Žižkov
Žižkovská Hrabárna (which simply translates to Thrift Store in Žižkov) only had very few football shirts, but the prices are reasonable, and they also get rare shirts in from time to time.
Check the Instagram page to see new stock before it drops, and be there on time to pick it up first.
Finland 2010 home shirt - 350 CZK ($15, €14, £12)
ALMO Vintage Prague - Maltézské nám. 474/3, 118 00 Malá Strana
This shop is a mixed bag. We did not pick up anything here, but they undoubtedly had the most football shirts in stock. However, prices are too high, and you will be better off shopping online. For example, a simple cap will set you back 70 USD here.
You can also hunt for current football shirts in official stores from brands like Adidas or Nike, but again the prices are usually high, as always in official stores.
Additionally, there are a lot of football teams in Prague like AC Sparta Praha, Slavia Prague, Dukla or Bohemians. A shirt from one of the local clubs is a great souvenir. Visiting a football match is highly recommended, and you can perfectly combine it with a trip to their fan shop.
There will always be a sale around the end of the season (April-June) when the club shops and brands get the football shirts for the new season, and are forced to sell off old stock cheaper to make space for new items. This is the best time to check official stores.
